Founded by Kim Hulett, Next Biosciences combines medicine, science and technology to empower people to invest in their future. An innovator in her own right, Kim has created the largest cryogenic facility in Africa storing stem cells and now seeks to expose university students to careers as bio-tech entrepreneurs. Participating students hailed from the University of Cape Town, the University of Johannesburg, and surrounding institutions and designed genetic models to craft low-cost diabetes treatments, rectify infertility, and clear acne. Participating students will continue to build their ventures throughout the duration of their studies.
